The Catholic Community Foundation Awards $66,000 IN Grants
Milwaukee, WI – The Center for Working Families (C4WF) is honored to announce a generous
$66,000 grant from The Catholic Community Foundation (Milwaukee) to support an expanded
slate of workshop programs at The Center—a family of families—in Quito, Ecuador.
This funding will directly support workshops that focus on job training, violence prevention,
health and well-being, and other critical areas designed to empower vulnerable individuals and
families. These programs are part of a comprehensive approach to breaking the cycle of poverty
and building sustainable futures rooted in dignity, opportunity, and care.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership of The Catholic Community
Foundation,” said Serena Steele, Development Director at C4WF. “Their generosity helps us
equip families not just with services, but with skills, tools, and support that transform lives.”
The Foundation has previously supported other high-impact programs at The Center, including
daily nutritious meals for students and family meal kits that address food insecurity in the
community.
As The Center celebrates over 60 years of service, this grant represents a vital investment in the
long-term health and resilience of the families it serves.
