Pierre Chavez
Board member & high school group leader
Pierre's connection to the Center began in the summer of 1995 as a high school student on a summer service trip. Since then, he has been blessed to have been able to visit the Center many times as a chaperone for student groups.
The son of Ecuadorian immigrants, Pierre was born and raised in the Bronx, NY.
He holds a BA from the Johns Hopkins University and an MSEd from Fordham University. Pierre has been at Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, NY since 2008 where he is a member of the science faculty and the Assistant Director for Global Education.
With more than 20 years of connection to the Center, Pierre is honored to be a member of the C4WF Board and continue to serve the Center as it helps Quito's most vulnerable families.
